We have four separate programs for campers.
The Preschool Program – Children who are three and four years old and are toilet trained thrive in our
Preschool Program. Enrollment options include three or five full days, or five half days per week. Campers play indoors and outside, are taught to swim by our certified life guards, participate in woodshop, movement, cooking, nature, and arts and crafts. There is quiet time after lunch for full-day preschool campers. Half day campers have daily swimming lessons, and time in the woodshed.
The 5 & 6 Year Old Program – A bridge between the Preschool and Choice Programs, parents find this Program helpful for children moving from preschool to kindergarten. Campers spend the mornings with their counselors playing indoors and out, going to woodshop, and having their daily swimming lessons with our certified swim staff. After lunch, the children pick and choose their activities, just as the older campers do, gaining confidence and independence.
The Choice Program – Children ages seven to thirteen design their days by choosing from a slate of engaging indoor and outdoor activities, including art, nature, woodshop, drama, music, sports & games, archery, and cooking. Campers also have daily swimming lessons and free time in our pools supervised by our certified guards. Campers get to do what they love!
The CIT Program – Our Counselor-in-Training Program is for students finishing seventh and eighth grade who enjoy working with children and want to develop their leadership skills. CITs are guided by their own counselors, and they assist specialty and general counselors as part of their training. CITs also design and lead their own activities, offered to younger campers, with the support of their counselors. CITs have special privileges and responsibilities. Participants need to commit to at least four weeks. There is a special application process for CITs. Kindly request a CIT application package.
